Mission
Ensure customer satisfaction within Valeo Vision Systems (VVS) Tuam site and other sites if required.
Responsibilities
* Ensure customer satisfaction within Valeo Vision Systems (VVS) Tuam site and other sites if required.
* Prevent non-compliance in production.
* Lead the production quality improvement plan to reduce scrap costs and maximize first-time yield.
* Participate in implementing and maintaining quality systems and certifications at the Tuam site.
* Coordinate and validate problem-solving (PDCA) following internal and external failures, using Quick Response, Plan Do, Check Act, and Lessons Learned.
* Manage enforcement of Valeo Quick Response Quality Control rules and deploy QRQC steps 1, 2, and 3.
* Coordinate product and process audits.
* Lead the Total Quality focus in manufacturing, including ISO standards.
* Support quick and efficient solutions to all 0 km and warranty issues by applying QRQC philosophy and predictive models for reliability and warranty cost exposure.
* Ensure continuous improvement in all quality indicators, such as customer claims, delivery performance, and non-quality costs.
* Train and coach teams in PDCA-FTA, QRQC, and problem-solving tools, fostering a proactive problem-solving mindset.
* Achieve industrial excellence, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction by systematically eliminating waste to produce first-time-right deliverables.
* Think logically and define standards based on benchmarking and logical reasoning.
Education/Training
* Engineering or Science Degree
* Proven problem-solving ability, preferably Master Black Belt qualified with extensive DOE experience and logical thinking.
Professional Experience
* 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the automotive industry.
Other Specifications
* Proven problem-solving ability, preferably Master Black Belt qualified with extensive DOE experience and logical thinking.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Team player with initiative.
* Knowledge of German language is a distinct advantage.
