Job Description
* Ensure smooth and professional operation of the kitchen.
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes to Javinos’ quality standards.
* Adhere to HACCP regulations and maintain strict food safety standards.
* Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring proper stock rotation.
* Record all food waste in the waste book.
* Label all foods daily and ensure cleaning procedures are maintained and documented.
* Work under the direction of managers, treating all colleagues, service staff, and customers with respect.
* Ensure timely preparation of food to maintain Javinos’ high level of service.
* Deliver excellent customer service with courteous and helpful behaviour.
* Operate kitchen and counter equipment safely and efficiently.
* Maintain exceptional standards of hygiene and cleanliness, exceeding legal requirements.
* Undertake any other duties as directed by management.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience.
* Strong knowledge of HACCP and food hygiene standards.
* Proven ability to prepare and present food to a consistently high standard.
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
* Strong organisational skills, with attention to stock control and waste management.
* Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
* Commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, and maintaining high standards.
* Flexibility and willingness to take on additional tasks as required.
