Responsibilities:
* Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in Haematology and Blood Transfusion.
* Analyze blood samples and interpret results accurately.
* Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
* Ensure compliance with all laboratory protocols and safety standards.
* Maintain accurate records of laboratory findings and patient data.
* Collaborate with medical and healthcare staff to provide quality patient care.
* Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs.
* Assist in the training and supervision of junior staff and students.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Medical Science or a related field.
* Experience in Hematology/Blood Transfusion.
* CORU registration required.
* Full driving license and access to own car is desirable.
* Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
* All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.
* Candidates who have lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months over the age of 16 will be required to produce International Police Clearance. Failure to have this document during the initial recruitment stages will result in an unsuccessful application.
