Part Qualified Accountant / Accounts Assistant | €47,500-€55,000 | North Dublin (Hybrid) I'm working with a growing international business looking to hire a Accounts Assistant to join their finance team.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys the detail side of accounting and wants exposure to multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction work across Europe and the UK.
The Role You'll support the wider finance function across a range of areas including month-end, reconciliations, VAT, fixed assets, and reporting.
Key responsibilities: Month-end journals (accruals, prepayments, reclasses) Balance sheet and bank reconciliations across multiple entities Assisting with management accounts and reporting packs Intercompany reconciliations and variance analysis VAT returns across multiple jurisdictions Maintaining the fixed asset register Supporting audits and ongoing finance projects Assisting with reporting and data analysis using Power BI What they're looking for: Experience in a finance or accounting role Strong month-end and reconciliation experience VAT exposure Good Excel skills (lookups, pivots) Exposure to or interest in Power BI / data reporting tools High attention to detail Nice to have: ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Sage) Exposure to multi-entity or international environments Part-qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or working towards
