About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Stainless Steel Fabricator to join our Manufacturing Workshop in Mallow, Co. Cork. The successful candidate will be involved in the fabrication of high‑quality stainless‑steel components and assemblies for use in water and wastewater treatment applications.
Key Responsibilities
Fabrication of stainless‑steel components to engineering drawings and specifications
Cutting, forming, assembling and finishing stainless steel materials
Working with pipework, frames, tanks and process equipment
Pipe welding where required (advantageous)
Ensuring all work meets quality standards and tolerances
Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Working collaboratively with workshop supervisors and engineering teams
Key Competencies & Skills
Proven experience as a stainless‑steel fabricator (essential)
Ability to read and interpret fabrication and engineering drawings
High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
Good understanding of workshop tools and fabrication equipment
Pipe welding experience (advantageous but not essential)
Strong awareness of health and safety practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable: TIG welding experience with stainless steel
Desirable: Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial workshop environment
Desirable: Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship
