Job Title: Principal Reliability Engineer
This is a unique opportunity to join our organization as a Principal Reliability Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing test methods to ensure that they are ready for the Test Method Validation process.
Job Purpose:
The Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) team is dedicated to developing next-generation medical technologies that treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms. As a key member of this team, you will contribute to the development of innovative solutions that advance and enhance care for millions of patients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with Research & Development to develop test methods for validation;
* Ensure all Test Method Validations meet required procedures and standards;
* Work closely with quality core team members to deliver project deliverables;
* Contribute to the development of systematic reliability analysis techniques;
* Lead strategies for test method validations, design verification, and shelf-life protocols/reports.
Requirements:
* Advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience;
* Minimum Level 8 Degree in Engineering or other relevant discipline and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience;
* Experience in a highly regulated industry, preferably medical devices;
* Knowledge of reliability tools and practices that effectively support requirements, design, integration, and verification/validation;
* Critical thinking skills with focus on improved system performance outcomes and positive business impact;
* Excellent communication and ability to influence.
