Overview
Horticultural Operative position at Sheelin Mushrooms Ltd, a family-owned company operating at Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan. We produce fresh mushrooms for the retail market. The business has grown over the past 30 years with a reputation for high quality standards.

Responsibilities
* Hand picking/harvesting and grading/sorting mushrooms
* Weighing mushrooms
* Hand picking to correct size and type
* Cleaning and preparing mushroom beds, work areas, sanitising picking tools, racks/trolleys and packaging areas
* Meet minimum productivity targets; bonus may be awarded for high productivity
* Work hours and days are variable due to the nature of the crop
* Start on short notice; induction and training are provided on site
* Work well on own initiative and with others; be flexible with working days/hours
Qualifications
* Previous experience is advantageous
* Basic education and/or a good working history
* Flexible, hard-working and honest with strong attention to detail
* Ability to take instructions and work with purpose
* Clean, tidy, and organised
* Ability to work well with others and follow instructions
* Sector: agriculture, forestry and fishing
