Role Summary:The role holder will assume full responsibility for leading all BIM activities across the organisation.The post holder will drive and grow with the company's Digital capabilities by championing its BIM implementation, implementing technologies and processes and ultimately act as an ambassador for Digital Construction within the business.Person Specification:· rd Level Qualification in Architecture, Architectural Technology or Engineering.· Proficient in Autodesk Revit to Autodesk Professional Level.· Minimum 5 years' experience of leading and implementing BIM processes.· Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks essential.· Experience with AutoCAD would be advantageous.· Effective and proactive communication are a prerequisite· Energetic, highly motivated.· Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.· Excellent reading, writing and comprehension skills.· Able to learn, understand and apply new technologies and business process domains.· Team player.· Current driver's licence.Key Functions & Results Areas (Key Activities):· Actively seek pipeline updates, ensuring the Commercial Team are informed in relation to contractual requirements relating to BIM.· Manage AEC software account for the company including licensing, renewals, and contracts for same.· Prepare and manage an in-house training plan for upskilling in Digital Construction.· Actively have a presence in meetings internally and externally and query all things BIM related.· Assess in-house capacity and eternal capacity for projects with BIM requirements.· Create and monitor fixed price contracts with internal and external BIM coordinators, managing their weekly workload, their invoices monthly, and take ownership of their account, liaising regularly with Department Director on progress.· Liaising with the project team internally and externally on the design of a BIM model ensuring accuracy of shop drawings against model in relation to adjacent steel or services, flagging up any discrepancies at the earliest opportunity possible. · Attending weekly BIM/Design meetings and produce minutes/ action lists as required.· Coordinate with project stakeholders BIM models and coordinating with Crown's own model, flagging up any discrepancies at the earliest opportunity possible.· Identifying and resolving clashes in the BIM model on a weekly basis and resolving or raising in weekly design progress report written by Technical Design Manager.· Responsible for Model hygiene and management of in-house BIM files.· BIM information management and CDE monitoring.· Responsible for harvesting from historic CRCL models to create a 'Crown' set of re-usable families within CRCL template.· Responsible for development of Revit template catering to the needs of the company for efficiency of outputs.· Manage the execution of a project from the BIM.· Focus on learning and professionally developing within this role to progress on your career path, deliver value and service the company's BIM requirements as the projects increase in complexity and size.· Any other reasonable duties as required by the directors, management or consultants appointed by the directors.
