Our Fermoy, Ireland, facility is FDA registered and certified to ISO ISO13485:2016 for the manufacture of high-quality PCBAs, subassemblies and complete devices up to and including Class III medical devices.
Sanmina Fermoy’s core specialization is manufacturing automation. We provide services for the entire product lifecycle from New Product Introduction (NPI), prototyping and process validation to complex volume manufacturing & test, shipping and repair. We create a state-of-the-art environment for manufacturing medical and other high-quality devices. The facility has a track record of 30 years of outstanding operational performance and customer service, backed by a highly experienced workforce.

OBJECTIVES OF POSITION:
* To ensure overall optimal line performance both on existing and developing product lines linked to customer requirements and business performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Introduction of new products in a high-volume production environment
* Process improvement and optimisation by applying Lean Manufacturing concepts
* Yield improvement of existing products
* ECO Implementation
* Control of all customer documentation, including BOM, AML and component drawings
* Line layout and optimisation
* Control of all assembly documentation for a product range
* Manage/coordinate multi discipline project team
* Technical point of contact for customer issues
* Responsible for generation of work instructions.
* Generation of reports required by both Management and customers
* Monitoring and improvement of product measurement metrics
* Quality:
o Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
* Health & Safety:
o Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Legislation and Regulations.
MEASUREMENTS:
* Measurements will be assessed against an agreed set of MBO’s as detailed in the annual performance review process.
PERSONNEL SPECIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL:
* NFQ Level 8 Degree in an Engineering discipline
* Minimum of 2/3 years experience in a high volume electronic manufacturing /similar environment.
* Flexibility to Travel
* Ability to effectively present information to customers and internal personnel at all levels.
DESIRABLE:
* Good communication and influencing skills
