Responsibilities
This position requires management of the following in respect of an allocated portfolio of clients:
1. Overall transaction and client relationship management including oversight, supervision and responsibility for the client management team involved
2. Managing and leading a team of 5-10 people
3. Implementation of all relevant policies and procedures and responsibility for ensuring teampliance with same
4. Implementation of suitable process and controls
5. Ensuring client specific administrative and operational procedure documents are managed effectively and kept up to date
6. Proactively ensure high quality client service level is maintained by all team members, and that work ispleted accurately within agreed timescales
7. Proactively manage deals by understanding clients' needs and deal documents
8. Review of operative documents and implementation of suitable controls and processes, ensuring all tasks are appropriately resourced and managed
9. All aspects of cash management in accordance with the corporate administration agreement
10. Assist in implementation of standardised accounting process
11. Provide technical accounting supports to other teams, when necessary, and assist in training for aviation accounting
12. Development of accounting policies
13. Ownership of the chart of accounts and trial balance with responsibility for ensuring all accounts are reconciled and open items cleared within agreed timelines
14. Oversight of the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting, including single entity and consolidated financial statements (to include account analyses) in accordance with IFRS (or other applicable accounting standards) within prescribed deadline
15. Oversight of the preparation pre filing of client tax returns ( Corporation tax, VAT and Payroll taxes)
16. Co-ordination andpletion of the annual audit process for all clients, ensuring all reporting deadlines are met as scheduled
17. Review pre filing of all regulatory returns to the Central Bank of Ireland on a timely basis
18. Maintaining excellent working relationships with clients, servicers, investors, rating agencies, legal counsels and others as appropriate
19. Monitoring client profitability and implementing change actions as required
20. Ensuring clients are billed in accordance with agreed terms
21. Ensuring achievement of all targets and KPIs as agreed with the directors
22. Monitoring team performance and provide necessary coaching & mentoring,
23. Managing probationary process and regular staff appraisal meetings for team
24. Ensure all inquiries both internal and external are dealt with promptly, and
25. Ad hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time

Relevant Experience
34. At least 6 years post qualified experience, preferably in the corporate services industry or accounting practice
35. Financial services experience, ideally in structured finance and/or aircraft leasing
Education and Professional Qualification
• Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA)
