Compliance Monitoring Auditor Airworthiness
Join to apply for the Compliance Monitoring Auditor Airworthiness role at Aer Lingus.
Role context
Aer Lingus operates an independent Compliance Monitoring System (CMS) which monitors compliance with EASA, ICAO, IATA (IOSA) and company safety and security requirements across all operational areas, including subcontracted activities. The purpose of this role is to conduct audits on behalf of the Airworthiness Compliance Manager to ensure Aer Lingus remains compliant with regulatory requirements of Part CAMO and Part 145, and to report non-conformances with these regulations. The role supports opportunities for improvement identified through the audit process to drive continuous improvement and deliver a safe, punctual, and consistent guest experience. Reporting directly to the Airworthiness Compliance Manager, the CMA will work independently, preparing and conducting Continuing Airworthiness and Maintenance audits, travel across the Aer Lingus network to conduct audits, and represent the organisation to achieve the highest levels of safety and security. The CMA will complete follow-ups with operational departments ensuring timely closure of non-conformances. Upon completion of required training and acceptance by the IAA, the CMA will conduct Airworthiness Reviews on the Aer Lingus Fleet.
Context
According to EASA EU regulation 1321/2014 (Part CAMO.A.200 and Part 145.A.35 & 145.A.200), a Compliance Monitoring Manager is appointed to assess and report on regulatory compliance, reporting directly to the Accountable Manager. To maintain independence, auditors under the CMS must not audit areas in which they are operationally involved. Effective auditing requires broad knowledge of EASA regulations, ICAO standards, and Aer Lingus procedures. The Compliance Monitoring Office also audits operations to maintain IOSA registration and IATA membership.
