Finance Officer Oue client a leading semi-state organisation are recruiting for a Finance Officer to join their team and support finance operations, grant compliance, audits, and system improvements.
Key Responsibilities Perform compliance checks on grants and payments.
Maintain finance policies, procedures, and fixed asset records.
Support finance and grant management systems.
Assist with audits and preparation of financial statements.
Manage EPBD programme finances, including invoicing, direct debits, reporting, and queries.
Work with operational teams to improve processes and workflows.
Provide support across the finance and corporate services teams.
Be flexible during peak periods to meet deadlines.
Skills & Experience Strong attention to detail, numeracy, and IT skills Experience with accounting systems, audits, and financial controls.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Level 8 or Level 7 NFQ qualification in Business, Finance, Accounting or related area, with relevant experience Skills: Bank Reconciliation grants Invoicing
