A progressive 200 Cow, pasture based Spring calving dairy operation seeks a permanent, full time person, capable of working and managing independently. The farm encompasses a modern 20 unit parlour with ACR's, dump line and an autowash system. The farm strives for continuous improvement in all key KPI's and adopts many important technologies such as a heat detection system, auto drafting gate and automatic calf feeder to aid in the achievement of these targets. The ideal candidate would need to have previous experience in a similar role either as farm manager or assistant manager and be fully capable of managing independently. The role will require the person to be competent in all areas of milking and animal husbandry and to be competent in loader operations for feeding and to have a full driving license.
