Job Overview
We are looking for a Claim Center Functional Developer with solid experience in Guidewire Claim Center (GWCP) to support and enhance solutions for P&C insurance clients.
This role is centered around production support, requiring someone who can confidently handle configurations, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with business and technical stakeholders in an Agile setup.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and support Guidewire Claim Center solutions aligned with business requirements
Work extensively on configurations, including screen design, data models, business logic, and workflow management within Claim Center
Provide production support by identifying issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing effective fixes
Build and maintain integrations with external systems using APIs, web services, and messaging frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and continuous improvements
Contribute to estimation, analysis, and debugging activities across releases
Maintain high standards of code quality, documentation, and best practices
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and team discussions
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of overall IT experience with a strong focus on Guidewire technologies
At least 2+ years of hands‑on experience working specifically with Guidewire Claim Center
Deep understanding of Claim Center configuration, including UI components, business logic implementation, data modeling, and workflow orchestration
Proven experience in integrating Claim Center with external systems through APIs, web services, or messaging
Solid knowledge of the P&C insurance claims lifecycle and business processes
Comfortable working in Agile or Scrum environments
Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities
Nice to Have
Guidewire Claim Center certification (Specialist / Niseko preferred)
Exposure to Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) implementations
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
