Clinical Litigation Solicitor
on a
12-month fixed-term contract
. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-profile cases with a strong public service dimension.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will join a well-established Clinical Litigation Unit, managing a portfolio of clinical litigation and inquest files. The role involves engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, advising on sensitive and complex issues, and supporting senior legal colleagues in the delivery of effective case management.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a designated portfolio of clinical litigation and/or inquest files.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Provide clear, timely legal advice on ancillary matters.
* Stay updated on relevant legislation, case law, and practice developments.
* Support the Head of Clinical Litigation and contribute to team-wide initiatives.
* Carry out additional duties reasonably delegated as part of the wider team.
Experience Required
* Minimum
4 years' post-qualification experience
in personal injuries litigation, ideally involving clinical or healthcare-related matters.
Skills & Attributes
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
* Willingness to share knowledge and expertise to support team development.
* Flexible, adaptable, and open to new approaches that improve processes.
Knowledge
* Qualified solicitor in this jurisdiction.
* Knowledge of the Irish public health sector is an advantage.
