Orange Recruitment is working with one of Ireland's most reputable construction firms to hire an experienced Site Manager for a major project based in County Kerry.
This role is ideal for a driven professional with a strong track record in site leadership who thrives in a fast-paced, solutions-oriented environment.
You'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of site activities, ensuring high standards in health and safety, workmanship, and project delivery.
Duties: Take full responsibility for the coordination and management of all site-based construction work.
Oversee subcontractor performance, direct labour, and materials handling to ensure efficient workflows.
Enforce strict compliance with Health & Safety protocols, building codes, and company procedures.
Liaise with the Project Manager, engineering, and commercial teams to monitor timelines, resolve issues, and maintain momentum.
Keep accurate and timely records of site progress, including daily logs, reports, and documentation.
Facilitate site inductions, safety briefings, and toolbox talks.
Monitor equipment usage, stock levels, and logistics to reduce downtime and optimise site resources.
Foster a positive site culture with a strong emphasis on accountability, safety, and collaboration.
What We're Looking For: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory or site management role on residential or commercial construction projects.
Proven knowledge of modern construction practices, site safety legislation, and quality standards.
Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to interpret project plans, schedules, and technical specifications with confidence.
Educational background in Construction Management, Engineering, or a trade certification.
Competency in using Microsoft Office and project/site management tools such as Procore, PlanGrid, or similar platforms.
