I'm working with an international legal and professional services firm to recruit a Tax Associate to join it's growing team. With offices across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia, the firm works on complex cross-border matters across multiple jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with senior tax partners on a broad range of technical tax matters.
* Advice domestic and international clients on transactions including capital markets, investment funds, corporate tax, M&A, cross-border structuring, real estate and asset finance.
* Support client work both independently and alongside colleagues in other practice areas.
* Assist with drafting clear, high-quality tax advice and transaction documentation.
* Other ad-hoc duties that might arise.
Requirements
* Qualified lawyer or accountant (newly qualified up to 1–3 years' post-qualification experience)
* Completed or currently completing AITI Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) exams
* Experience working in a tax role within a recognised law firm or accounting practice
* Strong academic background and solid tax technical foundations
* Excellent drafting and communication skills
* Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
* Financial services tax experience is beneficial but not essential
