A leading private healthcare organisation is seeking an experienced and proactive Healthcare Administration Manager to join its integrated healthcare services team in Ireland.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated healthcare professional to lead operational improvements, enhance patient access pathways, and support exceptional patient experiences across a growing hospital network.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership teams and operational stakeholders to optimise scheduling, streamline processes, and ensure efficient patient flow across services.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support integrated healthcare administration and Access to Care operations across healthcare services in Ireland
Manage inpatient scheduling teams based in Waterford and Kilkenny
Oversee the medical secretary team in Waterford
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance patient access and operational efficiency
Develop, mentor, and support team members through performance management and engagement initiatives
Collaborate with hospital leadership teams and clinical and operational stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery across all services
Monitor and report on key operational KPIs and access metrics
Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and "Get it Right First Time" service delivery
Support patient communication and improve the overall patient experience
Assist with additional operational projects related to patient access and care coordination
Requirements
Minimum 12 months' experience in a similar healthcare administration or operational management role
Relevant business qualification (Degree or equivalent)
Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience with healthcare systems, including iPIMS, is desirable
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
