Part II Architect
About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Part II Architect to join our multi disciplinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in the delivery of a range of diverse and challenging projects, collaborating with contactors, consultants and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents using AutoCAD & Revit.
* Produce 2D and 3D drawings, models, presentation boards and documentation.
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to develop and coordinate technical solutions.
* Prepare planning applications and ensure compliance with Irish building regulations, including BC(A)R standards.
* Assist in obtaining approvals from planning authorities where relevant
* Attend relevant internal and external meetings, take minutes/notes and follow up on action points.
* Liase with members of the external design team and other stakeholders as required.
* Ensure compliance with building regulations, codes, and sustainability standards.
* Resolve technical and design issues efficiently and effectively.
* Maintain project documentation and support project management tasks where required.
* Engage in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and remain updated with design tools, regulations, and emerging industry practices
Requirements:
* Master's degree in Architecture with 2/3 years+ post-graduate experience.
* Previous project experience in large scale residential housing and apartment developments.
* Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent technical drawing and detailing skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Strong time management and organizational skills.
* Self-motivated and ambitious
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with BIM processes and software.
* Familiarity with sustainable design principles and certifications.
* Experience across various project stages, from concept to completion.
* Knowledge of planning policies and procedures.
