Title: Technical Data Analyst Reporting line: Quality Manager Department: Technical Location: Kilbrew, Ashbourne, Co. Meath The Data Analyst is responsible for supporting the Technical and Operations Team through understanding and identifying trends, patterns, and insights that can help improve business operations, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
Key Duties Data Collection and Cleaning: Gather data from various sources, including quality databases and spreadsheets, and other digital systems such as INFOR MES.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency by cleaning and correcting errors.
Data Analysis: Analyse data to identify patterns, trends, and insights related to product Quality & Safety including complaints, Quality alerts, Quality Incidents.
Problem Solving: Use analytical skills to identify and address problems related to product Quality & Safety, product waste and other quality losses Reporting and Communication: Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, often through reports, presentations, or dashboards.
Works with the group INFORMES super user team to ensure standardised applications and best practices are deployed in the Tayto Snacks system Is responsible for MES service Incident & Problem reporting to external support system Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Technical, Projects, to implement data-driven strategies.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in processes and operations based on data analysis.
Manage the customer respond system for holiday cover.
Create various diagrams and flowcharts using VISIO.
Basic Requirements: Strong-level proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint.
Support the Quality Manager in building awareness of Food Safety & Quality losses and sharing insights with cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate would have 1 -2 years' experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: A passionate and driven person with a real desire to win Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
The ability to interpret large amounts of data is critical Strong competent understanding of using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Collaborates with the other departments to support overall department goals and objectives.
Ability to work within a team and to influence others to achieve results Prepared to learn rapidly and grow within the role.
Strong planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills Solid presentation and written/verbal communications skills.
