The Moy Veterinary Clinic, Ballina, Co Mayo has an opening for an experienced Farm Animal Vet to join our five vet mixed practice.Our practice has both companion animal and farm animal divisions and this position is for a mainly farm animal veterinary surgeon.We are ideally looking for an experienced vet who is interested in settling down and getting more control over their working life. Recent graduates with a keen interest in farm animal care will also be considered. We have always offered excellent support and ongoing training to all our employees.The farm animal side involves clinical cattle work, seasonal sheep, preventative healthcare and TB testing for our clients. Herd Health/TASAH programs will be a growing part of the position. Bull fertility testing carried out. IMV Easi-scan available for your use. In house faecal testing (Ovacyte)The companion animal side has digital X-ray, ultrasound, dental machine and and in house lab. We run our clinics by appointment and have fully computerised records (Teleos).
