The team includes Implementation Consultants, Architects, and Delivery leaders across India, the U.S., and EMEA.They work closely with Sales, Presales, Product, Customer Success, and strategic implementation partners to ensure architecturally sound deployments that reduce risk, accelerate time to value, and drive long-term customer success. The team is focused on delivery excellence, structured methodology, and continuous improvement of our engagement standards and implementation playbooks.About the roleAs an Implementation Architect, you will serve as the architectural owner for complex Chargebee implementations across enterprise and upper mid-market customers in EMEA. You will translate sophisticated business requirements into scalable, compliant, and extensible system designs across CRM, billing, tax, accounting, and revenue recognition ecosystems.You will act as the technical authority on multi-system revenue stack implementations, guide customers through complex design decisions, and mentor Implementation Consultants to ensure high-quality delivery. Your leadership will reduce implementation risk, improve time to value, and influence both service methodology and product evolution.What you’ll do (role and responsibilities)Own end-to-end solution architecture for complex Chargebee implementations, ensuring coherence across CRM, billing, ERP, tax, and revenue recognition systemsLead executive-level customer design sessions to translate business use cases into scalable Chargebee-centric architecturesDefine implementation strategies, sequencing, timelines, and technical resource requirements for enterprise-grade solutionsServe as the primary escalation point for architectural, integration, and data migration challenges during deliveryProvide hands-on architectural guidance and mentorship to Implementation Consultants to unblock complex accountsPartner with Sales and Presales on strategic deals to shape solution approaches, assess implementation risks, and strengthen enterprise deal confidenceDesign and advise on data migration strategies, system cutover planning, and API-based integration patternsRe-architect customer revenue stacks to leverage evolving Chargebee capabilities and best practicesCollaborate with Product leadership to provide structured field feedback, influence roadmap decisions, and close adoption gapsDocument architectural best practices, reusable patterns, and lessons learned to strengthen Chargebee’s implementation methodologyWhat you’ll bring (required skills and experience)5+ years in a Solution Architecture, Implementation Architect, or senior technical consulting role within a SaaS product organization3+ years working with subscription management or recurring revenue platforms like Chargebee Revenue Management or comparable subscription billing platformsStrong architectural experience across integrated revenue systems, including:Self-service flows for B2C business modelsERP and accounting systems (NetSuite, Intacct, QuickBooks Online)Tax and compliance solutions (Avalara, ASC 606 / revenue recognition)API integrations and iPaaS platforms (e.g., Workato, Zapier)Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable system designs and articulate trade-offs between configuration, customization, and integrationsLed executive-level technical design discussions, guiding non-technical stakeholders through complex architectural decisionsStrong background in designing multi-system, integrated SaaS architecturesExpertise in data migration strategies, system cutover planning, and event-driven workflowsAbility to serve as the single source of truth for solution design and implementation strategyBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldAbility to work in the Dublin office at least two days per weekAbility to travel up to 25% of the time based on business needsNice to have (preferred)Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldExperience working with both B2B and B2C subscription modelsExposure to enterprise and upper mid-market customers with complex compliance and scale requirementsExperience collaborating with implementation partners on integrated, extensible solution deliveryTrack record of contributing to methodology development, best-practice documentation, or reusable architectural frameworksBenefits we offerAt Chargebee, we believe that feeling supported is the foundation for doing great work.
