Role Overview
As Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the daily running of the soft play centre during your shift. You’ll be a hands-on leader, ensuring exceptional customer service, staff coordination, and that health & safety standards are maintained. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a lively, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
When necessary, act as the senior point of contact during your shift, taking full operational responsibility for the centre.
Lead, motivate, and support team members, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness.
Ensure a safe and secure environment for all visitors and staff.
Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
Oversee daily checklists, rotas, and staff breaks to ensure smooth shift management.
Assist with hosting parties, events, and group bookings.
Carry out opening and closing procedures including cash handling and till reconciliation.
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure compliance with all health & safety, safeguarding, and hygiene regulations.
What We’re Looking For
Previous supervisory or management experience in a customer-facing or hospitality environment (experience in a soft play or leisure setting is a bonus).
Excellent communication and people skills.
Friendly, approachable, and confident in leading a team.
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to stay calm under pressure in a busy environment.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
