**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Stores Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse or stores role, ideally within the engineering or manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and equipment.
* Pick, pack, and dispatch items accurately and efficiently.
* Maintain up-to-date stock records using internal stock control systems.
* Ensure the warehouse is kept organized, clean, and compliant with health and safety standards.
* Liaise with other departments to support smooth operational flow.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a warehouse or stores role, ideally within the engineering or manufacturing industry.
* Basic IT proficiency and familiarity with stock control or inventory management systems.
* Forklift licence and experience operating warehouse equipment (preferred but not essential).
* Valid Manual Handling certificate.
* A proactive, team-oriented approach with strong attention to detail.
