The Senior FP&A Manager is a key leadership role responsible for driving financial performance and strategic decision-making within the commercial sector of our organisation. This position oversees all financial forecasting activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. The Senior FP&A Manager will partner with the leadership group and commercial teams to develop and implement financial strategies that support business growth and profitability. Requirements Lead the FP&A function, providing strategic financial insights to support operational decision-making. Develop and implement financial strategies that align with business objectives and drive operational efficiency. Serve as a key advisor to the leadership group and commercial leadership team on financial matters. Manage the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, including building out the 5-year plan for the group. Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and cost management. Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and strategic initiatives. Provide training and development to operations teams on financial concepts and tools. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and controls. Support external and internal audits as required. Lead and mentor the FP&A team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing within the finance team and across the organization. Maintain a professional image for the company in all dealings with public and stakeholders Requirements Qualified Accountant, preferably with Big 4 background. Extensive experience in financial management, with a significant portion in FP&A or commercial finance. Experience in the construction or property industry or a related sector is advantageous. Proven leadership experience, including managing finance teams and leading cross-functional projects. Proficiency in financial analysis, modelling, and advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with financial planning and analysis software and business intelligence tools. Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and best practices. Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Strong communication skills to engage with senior leadership, investor relations, auditors, and design consultants, while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
