A Procurement Lead is required by CareerWise Recruitment to join our Limerick based Biopharma client. This role reports to the Director – Site Procurement. Permanent role with excellent benefits.
ROLE:
1. Procurement of Supplies and Services
2. Prepare and negotiate agreements and contracts with maintenance, lab and production operations supplies and service suppliers so that risk and costs are minimised.
3. Management of site/supplier relationships
4. Establish and manage relationships with local site suppliers (including negotiations) while integrating global suppliers into the site’s supply chain, with a view to continuous improvement.
5. Support/Influence site business needs
6. Work closely with suppliers and internal customers to ensure all internal specifications and standards are met.
7. Support local & global procurement policies, goals and objectives
8. Establish and maintain strong partnerships with the Global Procurement organization as well as counterparts at other sites.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor’s level 8 degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or similar field.
2. 5+ years’ experience in Pharma manufacturing procurement role.
3. Previous supply chain, manufacturing, and/or procurement experience.
