Red Chair Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Service Technician on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in County Kerry.
This is a hands-on, full-time position ideally suited to someone with strong mechanical aptitude, stock management experience, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. The successful candidate will play a key role in assembling machinery, managing parts inventory, and carrying out service and maintenance on machines both in-house and occasionally on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assemble mechanical and electrical components to build custom machinery.
2. Service and maintain machines in line with company standards and customer requirements.
3. Manage stock levels of parts and tools, ensuring inventory is tracked and replenished as needed.
4. Perform routine quality checks to ensure machines are built and functioning to spec.
5. Liaise with clients and team members to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in a manufacturing or mechanical assembly role.
2. A mechanical or electrical qualification is an advantage but not essential – relevant hands-on experience will be considered.
3. Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
4. Full, clean driving license may be required for servicing work.
