A Day in The Life Of:
* The Engineering Manager will provide high-level leadership and direction to the operations engineering team, ensuring strategic and tactical activities support the Coronary & Renal Denervation Operating Unit.
* Lead, grow, and motivate a talented, diverse, and high-performing engineering team.
* Direct, develop, and coach the team involved in new product development and product management, including direct reports, through effective leadership.
* Attract and retain talent aligned with business needs.
* Ensure team motivation and engagement via regular coaching and performance development, aligning individual and group growth with business demands.
* Drive excellence through innovation of new technologies and processes supporting next-generation designs and applications in coronary and renal denervation.
* Share best practices across the team and support initiatives to develop and implement these practices.
* Collaborate with core teams to establish objectives, evaluate progress, and resolve issues.
* Generate innovative solutions to engineering and organizational challenges.
* Develop cross-site and cross-functional relationships within our large, multi-site, matrixed organization.
* Participate in department management and build strong peer relationships.
Key Skills & Experience
* Level 8 Degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience in a medical device environment.
* Experience managing engineers is a distinct advantage.
* Excellent team-building, communication, leadership, and people management skills.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
* Proactive team player and leader, capable of working effectively across teams.
* Experience with electromechanical devices is desirable.
