Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Analyst – Test Developer to drive quality assurance across our software development lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on automated testing, regression testing, and continuous integration. This role will lead a team of testers and collaborate closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure high‑quality, reliable software delivery.
Responsibilities
* Test Strategy & Planning
Define and implement test strategies for functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
* Automated Testing Leadership
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated test frameworks and suites; identify opportunities for automation across the SDLC and drive adoption of best practices; ensure automation coverage for critical paths and regression scenarios.
* Regression Testing
Own and manage the regression testing process to ensure stability across releases; maintain a robust regression suite and ensure timely execution during release cycles.
* Team Collaboration
Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement; coordinate testing efforts across multiple teams and projects; collaborate with developers and project managers to ensure testability and quality from the start.
* Reporting & Quality Metrics
Track and report on test coverage, defect metrics, and release readiness; provide actionable insights to stakeholders based on test results and trends.
* Tooling & Infrastructure
Manage and optimise test environments and CI/CD pipelines for automated testing; evaluate and implement new testing tools and technologies.
Essential Qualifications
* 3+ years experience as a Test Developer or Senior QA Engineer in agile environments.
* Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or similar.
* Strong expertise in automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG).
* Experience with regression testing and maintaining large test suites.
* Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration with test automation (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
* Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java).
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
Nice‑to‑Haves
* Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
* Familiarity with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow).
* Exposure to cloud‑based testing environments and containerisation (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
* Knowledge of test data management and mocking strategies.
* ISTQB or equivalent certification.
