About the Team
Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering or RME team keeps our equipment performing at its best. We're a technically minded team, made up of excellent team players guided by experienced leaders. We work together to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment across our global network of fulfilment centres. Some team members are leaders, overseeing the team as they work on exciting technology – some of which only exists at Amazon.
We handle most aspects of Amazon's technical side, including installing automated packaging systems, overseeing general maintenance of a site, and repairing key distribution equipment. This includes keeping buildings legally compliant, ensuring everyone is safe, and our sites operate at maximum efficiency. We focus on reducing downtime in Amazon's crucial operations sites, so customers receive their orders on time. We often work during early or late hours to carry out maintenance with minimal disruption, including night shifts.
