Aurivo Co-operative Society Ltd are seeking reliable and experienced Heavy Goods Vehicle Drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely delivery/collection of goods to customers / suppliers / manufacturing locations and distribution centres across Ireland
Reporting to:
Transport & Logistics Specialist
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate HGV vehicles in compliance with Irish road safety regulations and company policies
Transport goods between depots, warehouses, and customer locations.
Load and unload cargo (manual or using equipment, depending on load type).
Complete daily vehicle checks and ensures roadworthiness (pre-trip and post-trip inspections).
Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and required paperwork (including tachograph records).
Follow assigned routes and schedules while adapting to delays or road conditions when necessary.
Communicate with dispatchers, Aurivo employees, and customers professionally.
Adhere to EU Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
Fulfil the function of a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Driver and such other duties as assigned to you by Aurivo Co-operative Society Ltd.
The ideal candidate will have
Valid Category C+E driving licence
Experience with refrigerated, flat and bulk delivery vehicles
Valid Driver CPC and up to date CPC training modules
Valid Digital Tachograph card
Proven experience in HGV driving
Good knowledge of Irish road networks and road safety regulations.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Physically able to handle loading/unloading tasks when required.
Hours of Work
As determined by Loading/Delivery schedule. (overnight shifts may be required depending on routes)
May involve long distance driving across Ireland.
Due to the nature of the market in which Aurivo Co-operative Society Ltd operates, the Company may make demands on your time outside normal hours, including night work, which is understood by you and is catered for in your pay.
