OverviewCEL Critical Power is recruiting a highly motivated Environmental, Health, Safety and Facilities (EHSF) Manager who will promote a positive environmental and safety culture across the organisation, ensure operations meet high standards with the appropriate tools and training, and maintain our manufacturing facilities as required. Reporting to the Group Director of Manufacturing and Supply Chain, the EHSF Manager will work in partnership with peers across the company to drive Best-in-Class EHS performance on behalf of CEL and our customers. The role provides on-the-ground leadership to staff across IRL and US sites to ensure adherence to applicable legislation in all jurisdictions.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement and ensure compliance of an EHS strategy, conforming to ISO45001 and ISO14001Ensure EHS strategy across jurisdictions is complementary while also compliant with individual codesEstablish an effective risk management process and advise on key business decisions to site leadershipCreate and report relevant KPIs, ensuring actions are taken where targets are not metManage accident investigations, implementing robust corrective and preventive actions as requiredCreate a communication loop for all employees providing clear information on EHS issues and lessons learnedEnact an internal audit program, ensuring CEL operates in compliance with required EHS regulationsAct as the company representative during external audits, either customer or regulatoryAssist personnel in understanding their EHS obligations and how to fulfil their responsibilitiesImplement and monitor a comprehensive EHS employee training program, ensuring regulatory complianceAssume full responsibility for all facilities management activities across CEL's manufacturing facilities in IrelandCoordinate and manage maintenance activities identified during internal audits for CEL manufacturing sitesDrive behavioural change, implementing company-wide performance improvement programs and practicesProvide day-to-day operational support on a proactive basis on all EHS related mattersEngage with external stakeholders throughout a project lifecycle and obtain objective program feedbackDevelop and manage the EHS operational budget and report discrepancies as requiredSupport EHS training, coaching and development of teams across operations and client sitesExperience / Skills RequiredDegree educated with 3-5 years' experience at senior management levelDemonstrated organizational, leadership and communication skillsSelf-motivated with a results-driven approach and adept at identifying and solving issuesEffective communications and presentation skills and ability to advise on EHS legislationProven EHS auditing experience both in operational and remote sitesAbility and willingness to travel regionally - approx. 10% travel requirementAbility to work on own initiative, self-motivated and good time managementBenefitsJoin a Trusted Industry Leader - 42 Years of ExcellenceCEL has been delivering high-quality, bespoke power distribution solutions for over four decades, with products that stand the test of time.Be Part of a Global ExpansionWith CEL launching its first US manufacturing plant, you will have the opportunity to work on international projects and documentation standards while collaborating with colleagues across North America.Collaborate with World-Class Engineers, Vendors & Industry ExpertsYou will work alongside leading engineers, project managers, document controllers, product managers, and global vendors, ensuring excellence and operational success across CEL's international teams.Shape the Future of CEL - Critical PowerThis is more than just an operator role—it's an opportunity to help forge the future of CEL and our expansion across the US.Competitive Salary, Benefits & Career GrowthWe offer structured career development, professional training, and leadership opportunities, ensuring long-term career progression.Job Type: Full-timeSchedule: Monday to FridayApply Now - This is a CEL Critical Power-Critical Hire!
