Commercial Analytics & Data Insights Manager - Dublin (Hybrid)
If you're the kind of analytics leader who gets impatient with slow reporting cycles, broken KPI definitions, and "we'll fix it next quarter" data cultures.. this is a role you'll actually enjoy
A large, international, multi-region business (think scale, pace, and proper commercial complexity) is building out its central insights function and needs someone who can
turn data into decisions
, not dashboards that nobody uses.
This isn't BAU reporting.
This is
building clarity where there isn't any
, shaping group-wide standards, and bridging three regions that are at very different stages of data maturity.
You won't be fixing yesterday - you'll be shaping what "good" looks like for the entire organisation
What You'll Be Driving
* One version of the truth.
You'll tighten KPI definitions, standardise reporting across countries, and make sure everyone is reading from the same playbook.
* High-impact insights.
You'll own the translation layer between commercial problems and analytical output: pricing, performance, customer behaviour, growth levers.
* Dashboards that actually get used.
You'll build and oversee Power BI products that senior leaders rely on daily, not monthly.
* Regional alignment.
Two markets are mature; one is still very Excel-heavy. You'll be the person who brings them together and lifts the baseline.
* Scalable analytics delivery.
From pipelines to reporting cadence, you'll create repeatable processes that don't hinge on heroics.
* Team leadership.
You'll manage a small team initially and help shape the structure as the function grows, while staying close to the tools and the numbers yourself.
What You Bring
* 7+ years in commercial analytics, BI, or insight-driven roles.
* Strong hands-on Power BI capability -
you can build, fix, optimise, and explain.
* Experience creating or owning KPI frameworks or governance structures.
* A commercial mindset: you think in ROI, not rows and columns.
* The ability to influence senior stakeholders without drowning them in detail.
* Experience in fast-paced, multi-site/multi-region environments.
* Leadership experience.
* A bias for action. If something's unclear, you fix it. If data's messy, you structure it.
Why This Role Is Worth Your Time
* Group-level impact:
your work shapes decisions across several countries.
* A clean slate
in many areas- not fighting legacy dashboards built in 2014.
* Genuine ownership
over how data is used, governed, and turned into value.
* A growing team
with clear leadership progression.
* Fast-mover environment
* not the kind where insights wait three weeks for sign-off.
* High visibility
with senior commercial leadership.
