We are currently recruiting for a part time Warehouse & Stock Operative in our Keelings Market Business Unit.Purpose of JobThe successful candidate will be responsible for the receipt handling and dispatch of inbound and outbound stock and the accurate picking & assembly of orders.Main Duties/ResponsibilitiesLoad / unload stock in a safe manner;Sort and pack product for customer orders according to specification;Monitor the product to ensure it meets quality standards;Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with H&S guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);Ensure compliance with quality procedures within the Company;Sort and filter product to filter out poor quality productAssist with Stock counts - General, Class II & WasteLiaise with Sales team to ensure Customer orders are fulfilled to appropriate standardEnsure that product is handled correctly and packs meet our customer specificationFollow HACCP rules at all times.Pick orders onto cages or pallets as per order requirements with great care to protect quality and minimize damage and wasteGeneral housekeeping, waste and hygiene to ensure the work area is clean and tidy at all times;Assist with van loading if requiredOther duties as may be assigned from time to time by your Manager.Person Specification / Core CompetenciesAbility to work under pressure – fast, accurate turnaround times requiredAttention to detail;Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiativeAbility to communicate well in English language is essential;High level of dedication, flexibility and commitment;Use correct manual handling techniques.Hours of work: 2pm -6pm - Monday - Friday - 20 hours total a weekThis role will be based in Keelings, St. Margaret's – it is necessary to have your own transport (on-site parking provided)12 month fixed term contract
