Our client, at optierlawfirm, requires a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join their Competition & Regulation team.
The team is centrally involved in most of the high-profile merger control, competition and regulatory law cases affecting the Irish market and is consistently ranked in the top tier of competition advisers in Ireland.

Duties:
In this role you will have the opportunity to work on complex and novel legal matters for our market-leading roster of international and domestic clients, advising across the following areas:
Merger control under the EU and Irish merger control rules;
Antitrust investigations;
State aid and foreign subsidies regulation;
Public procurement law; and
Economic and sectoral regulation, including telecommunications, broadcasting, postal services, energy and transport (aviation, bus and rail).
The Candidate
Strong academic track record,
Experience in competition law and a keenness to further develop skills in this specialist area.
You are highly client-focused.
You can manage a diverse workload and deliver quality, commercially focussed advice while working collaboratively across the practice area.
You have trained in a law firm with over 50 practising Solicitors.
