General Operative – Delivery & Site-Based Work
Location: Factory / Site (as required)
Reports to: Factory / Operations Manager
Role Overview
The General Operative supports factory deliveries and site-based work, ensuring kitchens and materials are delivered, handled, and supported on site in a safe and professional manner. Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
* Support deliveries to site and customer locations
* Assist with on-site handling of materials and components
* Follow instructions from site supervisors and fitters
* Ensure materials are handled and stored safely on site
* Represent the company professionally on customer sites
* Maintain health & safety standards at all times
* Carry out general factory or site duties as required
Essential Requirements
* Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling
* Willingness to work on sites and travel as required
Mandatory Certifications
* Manual Handling Certificate (required)
* Safe Pass (required)
Desirable
* Previous site or delivery experience
* Full clean driving licence (advantage but not essential)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €15.75 per hour
