This position involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, configuring, and documenting software applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in React, Spring Boot, and/or Angular, as well as excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
* Participate in team prioritization discussions with Product/Business stakeholders
* Estimate and own delivery tasks (design, dev, test, deployment, configuration, documentation) to meet the business requirements
* Automate build, operate, and run aspects of software
* Drive code/design/process trade-off discussions within their team when required
* Report status and manage risks within their primary application/service
* Drive integration of services focusing on customer journey and experience
* Perform demos/acceptance discussions in interacting with Product owners
* Understands operational and engineering experience, actively works to improve experience and metrics in ownership area
* Develop complete understanding of end-to-end technical architecture and dependency systems
* Drive adoption of technology standards and opinionated frameworks, and review coding, test, and automation work of team members
* Mentor and guide new and less-experienced team members
* Identify opportunities to improve an overall process and trim waste
* Share and seek knowledge within their Guild/Program to drive reuse of patterns/libraries/practices and enhance productivity

Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree Computer Science (or related discipline)
2. 7+ years of experience in software industry
3. Front-end development experience:
* 5+ years professional hands-on frontend application development experience
* Demonstrable experience in building interactive web applications with polished good looking consistent responsive and accessible UI/UX
* Expert React ES6 Javascript and Typescript skills including areas of functional and asynchronous programming
* Experience in global state management frameworks like redux or similar within React ecosystem
* Expert HTML CSS development knowledge and experience with both native and using frameworks
* Experience in developing and maintaining component design systems
* Strong working knowledge of Node.js NPM Webpack and Jest
4. Back-end development experience:
* Strong fundamentals of working with APIs using Spring and Spring boot
* Strong experience in building RESTful web services and other Java APIs
* Strong experience in writing testing using Junit and related frameworks to ensure high quality
* You care about the technical architecture and design - ensuring that the solution is flexibly designed and performs efficiently
* Solid SQL development knowledge i.e PostgreSQL Oracle etc... and delivering solutions that leverage them at a massive scale
* Experience in developing asynchronous or event driven applications using Apache Kafka is distinct advantage
5. SDLC / DevOps:
* Strong understanding of version control tools especially git
* Strong understanding in agile methodologies SAFe frameworks and related tools like Rally Jira Confluence etc
* Strong understanding on continuous integration and deployment concepts and tools to create manage and run pipelines using Jenkins
* Understands customer journeys and ensure a Mastercard good experience by continuously reducing Mean time to mitigate MTTM for incidents and ensuring high availability 99.95% as a starting point
* Experienced working in an Agile environment with a global team that makes frequent production releases
* Exposure to application performance monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk desirable
