Key Responsibilities:
Individual Therapy: Provide ongoing one-to-one physiotherapy sessions to residents following initial baseline assessments.
Progress Evaluation: Use validated and standardised outcome measures to evaluate client progress, reassess, and adjust treatment programs as needed.
Record Maintenance: Maintain and update individual resident and client records meticulously.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the care centre nursing team to integrate physiotherapy within care plans.
Group Sessions: Conduct twice-weekly group exercise sessions.
Falls Prevention: Participate in regular Falls Meetings with the care team and complete related documentation.
Clients predominantly include geriatric residents with various physical and mental health conditions (such as stroke, MS, PD, Alzheimer’s, and related dementias), as well as able-bodied and active aging adults.
Requirements:
Qualifications: Membership with the ISCP.
Registration: CORU registration or an active application number.
Experience: Salary is based on experience.
