Occupational Therapy Services Role
This is a rotational post, delivering occupational therapy services to in-patients and out-patients attending various specialties in a hospital. The successful candidate will develop high-quality clinical skills through regular rotations every 6 months.
* Developing skills in acute medicine and medical rehabilitation settings.
* Delivering occupational therapy services in emergency departments, neurosurgery, critical care, and orthopaedics settings.
* Focusing on geriatric wards and stroke units.
Key Responsibilities:
* Determining patient needs and goals for occupational therapy interventions.
* Providing assessments, evaluations, and treatment plans for patients with a range of conditions.
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
* Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
* Registration as an Occupational Therapist with the relevant professional body.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
