Job Title:
* Operations Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
The Operations Coordinator will oversee daily site operations and manage logistics on a large scale construction project.
* Supervise and coordinate the movement of materials, equipment, and personnel within the site compound and storage areas.
* Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely and safe delivery of materials to and from the site.
* Enforce site access protocols and ensure all loading/unloading activities take place within designated areas.
* Monitor and guide traffic movements on site to prevent congestion and safety risks.
* Support the Logistics Manager in scheduling deliveries and maintaining records.
* Attend logistics meetings and relay key information to operatives and subcontractors.
* Supervise a team of logistics operatives and ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures and best practices.
* Identify and report issues related to delivery, storage, or traffic management, providing solutions to address them.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, the Operations Coordinator should have experience in a logistics position on a large-scale construction project. They should possess strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, and excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional qualifications such as AP Crane and Temporary Works are advantageous but not required.
