We are currently working with a leading asset servicing provider to appoint an Analyst – Financial Reporting to join a busy and well-established fund reporting team in Dublin.
This role sits within a collaborative environment with strong exposure to audits, financial statements and cross-border stakeholders.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the review and delivery of audited and unaudited financial statements for a portfolio of investment funds.
You will work closely with internal teams and external auditors to ensure high-quality, accurate and timely reporting in line with regulatory and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Review and peer-review financial statements for investment funds, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements and note disclosures
Liaise with auditors and internal stakeholders to support the audit process from start to finish
Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS, as well as applicable regulatory requirements
Interpret and analyse financial data relating to a range of asset classes and financial instruments
Coordinate with global teams to meet reporting deadlines
Assist with the development of financial statement templates for new clients
Support the implementation of controls and processes to mitigate risk
Contribute to ad hoc projects and ongoing operational tasks as required
Requirements
Minimum of 4 years' experience in fund reporting or fund accounting, including financial statement preparation and audit interaction
Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
Strong working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
Experience with UCITS and/or hedge funds
Solid understanding of financial instruments and related accounting treatments
Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
