Relief Instructor 12 months Fixed Term Contract, Variable hours Raheen Business Park, Limerick Job Purpose The Instructor shall be responsible for the training and development of all trainees on their programme in accordance with the agreed local training specification (LTS), together with the day-to-day management and maintenance of all aspects of the programme. What we're looking for: * Third level qualification, preferably within the Education/Training or Social Sciences sector * A relevant pedagogical/training qualification - Train the Trainer QQI Level 6 as minimum * A number of years relevant occupational experience of working with learners in educational, guidance and/or developmental contexts * Experience of working with young people with additional support needs including intellectual disabilities, ASD, physical and sensory needs and/or mental health difficulties. * Experience in QQI certification and accreditation processes Your Responsibilities * Provide systematic training according to specified curricula, Experience of working with young people with additional support needs including intellectual disabilities, ASD, physical and sensory needs and/or mental health difficulties. * Maintain records of all training in accordance with both internal and external quality standards and produce reports on same, as required. * As a key member of the rehabilitative team, to evaluate the vocational rehabilitation needs of each trainee.
