The Senior Kitchen Manager role is a fantastic opportunity to lead a high-performing kitchen team. As a key member of the hotel's culinary team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the kitchen, ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage kitchen areas and personnel to achieve optimal efficiency and productivity.
* Coordinate roster scheduling and labour costs with the Head Chef.
* Assist with recruitment and oversee staff performance, providing prompt feedback where necessary.
* Promote positive relationships with suppliers, service personnel, and other departments.
In this role, you will also have the opportunity to develop and implement new menu ideas, work closely with the Head Chef to maintain HACCP standards, and contribute to a cohesive team environment.
Requirements:
* 2-3 years' experience in a similar role and property in Ireland.
* Ability to operate and maintain all kitchen equipment and issue requests for repairs when necessary.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
