We are looking for aQuality, Environmental, Health & Safety, and Sustainability (QEHS&S) Managerto join our team, based in Drinagh, Wexford.
Job Summary
The QEHS&S Manager is responsible for continually improving, implementing, and maintaining systems and procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards, environmental regulations, health & safety laws, and sustainability goals. This role plays a critical part in aligning company operations with best practices in safety, environmental stewardship, product and service quality, and corporate responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management:
* Maintain, implement and improve ISO 9001 compliant Quality Management Systems.
* Lead internal and external audits; ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) are tracked and resolved.
* Analyze product and process quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality performance and customer satisfaction.
* Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and reporting requirements (e.g., EPA, local authorities).
* Maintain and improve the Environmental Management System (EMS), ideally aligned with ISO 14001.
* Oversee waste management, emissions control, and resource efficiency programs.
* Identify opportunities for reducing the company’s environmental footprint.
Health & Safety (EHS):
* Continually develop and enforce company safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations.
* Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
* Lead incident investigations and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
* Continue to promote a strong safety culture through training and employee engagement initiatives.
Sustainability:
* Support the development and implementation of sustainability strategies aligned with corporate ESG goals.
* Track and report sustainability KPIs including energy use, carbon footprint, water use, and waste reduction.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance sustainability initiatives.
* Lead and support sustainability certifications and reporting initiatives (e.g., EcoMerit).
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in a QEHS or related role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations (OSHA, EPA, ISO standards, etc.).
* Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills.
* Proven ability to influence and drive change across an organization.
