Reception Support Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and organized Reception Support Specialist to join our team in Tullamore, Offaly. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
The role involves operating switchboard equipment to receive calls, redirecting them to the correct person or department, and responding to patient inquiries. As a Reception Support Specialist, you will also schedule appointments, manage the computer clinic system, and maintain accurate and secure filing and administrative systems.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors
* Operate switchboard equipment and redirect calls to the correct personnel
* Schedule appointments and manage the diary
* Maintain accurate and secure computer clinic system
* Manage filing and administrative systems
* Provide typing and word processing services as required
Requirements:
* Medical terminology and understanding of medical systems
* Excellent customer service skills
* Diary management and organizational skills
* Dictaphone typing and typing skills
* Good IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
* Understanding of GDPR and confidentiality
Working Conditions:
* Part-time temporary role with variable hours between 8am and 10pm
* Competitive hourly rate plus shift allowance
