This is a permanent role offering long-term opportunities for career development.ResponsibilitiesContributing to a wide variety of projects, both in Ireland and overseas, working in both field and office-based work under the supervision of senior staff.Planning, supervising and reporting on ground investigations.Design of foundations, retaining structures, slope stability and earthworks for a range of building and infrastructure projects.Preparation of specifications and reports.Communicating design solutions and advice to a range of technical and non-technical audiences.Understanding trends and best practices in the geotechnical industry and contributing to geotechnical research.Participating in local Professional Associations and starting to work towards Chartership.Communicating effectively in written and verbal presentation formats.Possible short-term assignments within Ireland and overseas.QualificationsGraduates pursuing a minimum honour bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical or Structural Engineering.
