Job Description Reporting to the Operations Manager the planning Manager is responsible for leading project planning activities across major MEP projects in Ireland, Europe UK.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and overseeing all project programmes, ensuring accurate progress reporting, critical path analysis, and effective communication with stakeholders.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project Create baseline programmes and manage schedule updates Conduct critical path analysis, resource loading, and forecasting Identify programme risks and recommend mitigation strategies Produce weekly and monthly progress reports Support commercial teams with delay analysis and EoT submissions Present programme updates to internal and external stakeholders Collaborate with project, engineering, commercial, and site teams Lead and mentor junior planners Implement best-practice planning processes and improve planning controls Qualifications SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 10+ years planning experience in construction or MEP environments Strong expertise in Primavera P6 (essential) Experience delivering complex, high-value projects Strong understanding of project controls and risk management Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills Proven leadership and team-management experience Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field PMI-SP or similar certification beneficial Experience in large-scale MEP projects is desirable Additional Information Having an inclusive and flexible culture helps the business continue to grow as a strong, dynamic and innovative organisation.
