We are seeking a reliable and skilled Construction Operative to join our team in Celbridge, Kildare.
Responsibilities:
Carry out all duties in accordance with the Company's Health & Safety policies and site procedures.
Use appropriate tools, equipment, and machinery safely and for their intended purpose.
Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety footwear and protective clothing, at all times.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Immediately report any faults, defects, or damage to plant, tools, or equipment to site supervision.
Work safely at all times, identifying and addressing potential hazards where possible.
Take reasonable steps to eliminate risks, such as securing ladders or removing protruding nails.
Refrain from unsafe behaviour, including horseplay or misuse of equipment.
Alert supervisors to unsafe practices, hazards, or misuse of welfare facilities.
Report all workplace accidents, injuries, or near-misses, regardless of severity.
Contribute positively to site safety by suggesting safer working methods when identified.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Good understanding of construction practices and materials.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow site supervision instructions.
Strong awareness of health and safety responsibilities on site.
