Overview
The GLOBAL Operations Performance Analyst role is key for the support of the Productivity and Performance team within the OPERATIONS function. This person will develop & deploy automated business solutions that TRANSFORM Operations.
This person will work with internal customers to define PERFORMANCE related user requirements and then design, code, validate & deploy metric reporting solutions. They will also develop into the go-to person for DATA management within the Operations team.
This role is a temporary position for 12 months.
Responsibilities
* Development & Custodian of the Operations Scorecard (Power BI), acting as a focal point for data collection and ensuring Governance in performance data submissions across all functions and sites:
o Map current capability for plants.
o Manage the transition to automate KPIs collection and help identify gaps, driving drill-down capability and enabling speedy Problem Solving.
* Partner with key stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate targets and metrics reporting process for AOP (Annual Operating Plan), Forecasts, and monthly reports.
* Deep dive Data analysis on Operational KPIs to identify trends, hot spots, and benchmark.
* Work with IT to understand complexities around data availability and user access, including database management, licensing, security, access, and governance.
* Streamline data entry and lead the roll-out of region or sector-issued AOP templates to respective Plants and Functions, ensuring consolidation of KPIs at the Plant and Operations level.
* Update the Performance Calendars, Deep Dive Agenda, and Deep Dive dashboard, maintains the LSS Belts database and related activities.
* Interrogate and mine the data to provide valuable insights in support of AOP and Operational Excellence Lens to conversion KPIs (Efficiencies, Waste, Labour productivity, and Cost).
* Develop and provide reporting support for the Global teams to drive greater visualization and data insights with site reports.
* Develop/leverage Global Performance systems.
* Conduct performance systems training and ensure all existing sites are cross-calibrated, tracking all metrics and reporting timely.
* Support field teams with diagnosing systems-related issues, calculation methodology, and scorecard development.
* Knowledge Management – leverage PEPSICO knowledge management systems to maximize reach and accessibility of reports.
* Develop and maintain databases not limited to updated information on plants, lines, and types, capacities, product categories, automation, headcount to facilitate knowledge share.
* Develop Subject matter expertise on performance systems and productivity systems (such as Powersteering), providing training for key users to enable field capability.
Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in FMCG manufacturing and supply chain, field, and HQ roles.
* University degree in Engineering, Science, Software, Finance, or equivalent.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience programming visualization software, including Power BI.
* Experience with data management, extraction, transformation, and analysis using query language SQL.
* Experience with interfacing visualization tools with MS Azure.
* Experience with Power Automate and Power Apps desirable.
* Strong analytical skills, ability to learn new concepts and solutions quickly.
