As part of the Network Observability, the Passive Monitoring (NetO-PassMo) mission is to support networking teams in maintaining AWS networks' high availability and performance through telemetry collection, near-real-time monitoring, smart visualization and intelligent alerting.
We deliver accurate network telemetry insights that enable identification, localization and quantification of network impairments to empower operators' rapid remediation.
As part of Passive-Monitoring org, we own to design, build, and scale infrastructure that provides needed telemetry for AWS network and associated services.

Key job responsibilitiesAs a Network Development Engineer working within passive-monitoring team you will: - Be responsible for deploying performance-monitoring infrastructure across all of our use-cases that supports Amazon data-centers, Amazon Retail-Service, Kindle, Payments and multiple Amazon services.
- Design, Deploy, scale and automate our performance-monitoring infrastructure across multiple global datacenters.
This includes existing footprints and greenfield locations.
- Drive scaling of current performance-monitoring infrastructure designs to meet the demand of our internal/external customers and associated services.
- Work closely with our internal customers on designs/solutions; bringing those designs/solutions from concept to production.
- Create and update our infrastructure standards and ensure that the performance-monitoring infrastructure is designed, patched, and continuously meeting to these standards.
- Create and implement changes on the infrastructure.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS· Knowledge of network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills; specifically, network performance analysis· Experience working with customers to diagnose a problem, and work toward resolution
